Now there's an idea........

Apparently, unknown to me at least, Volkswagen run a contest to find ideas that would make obeying the speed-limit fun. In January, a young man did just that and a year later his entry was put into practice in Stockholm, Sweden.

Every car that passes a speed camera gets snapped - those exceeding the limit get fined, those below it go into a draw to receive a monetary prize, one funded from the proceeds of those paying fines.

Of course, never work over here - we wouldn't be able to afford ACPO!

    Maybe the reward should be to choose who to give 100 lashes to. Politician or other civil servant, including the police. I reckon that's something worth working towards.
