Admiration Gatitude Recognition
A footnote to Andrew Pearce's Notebook today in the Daily Telegraph was heartwarming on two fronts. Two unsung heroes were 'rewarded' and a 'lowly' employee gave something that should be provided by those a lot 'higher'.
"On a train to Birmingham the conductor discovered that two young men, dressed smartly and carrying kitbags, were just back from the front line in Afghanistan. He sent them straight into first class. I salute all three."
