Brown Gets 'Dumped'

In an earlier post I argued that MiliBandi (our erstwhile Foreign Secretary) might have made a greater effort to 'curry favour' with the incoming President of the United States.

Aha, now we see the reason why he even made the effort, pitiful though it was, in the first place.

It seems that the UK, whilst retaining a 'special relationship' with the US, will have to content itself to being one of a number of countries that have such a 'special relationship'.

This 'relationship realignment' means that not being given the opportunity of meeting Barak Obama ahead of the G20 talks, he will have to make do with Hilary Clinton instead!
