Independents Open - States Shut

In the Telegraph, a story reports that almost all of the independent schools remained open during the bad weather, whilst thousands of state schools shut.

Jill Berry, the headmistress of Dame Alice Harpur School, Beds, said, amongst her quoted comments, "In the independent sector, no one is telling us what to do".

It won't be long Ms. Berry - it won't be long!

Just remember who our Secretary of State for Schools, Children & Families is - 'What A Load Of' - and that he just can't stop himself from telling people what to do.
