We are informed by Lee Rotherham of the TPA that today is reportedly the 350th anniversary of the writing of the first cheque for £10 - so Lee is saying although this fact has yet to be 'chequed'.
It is with some trepidation therefore that I wait to hear how much the Chancellor intends filling in on the blank cheques that he has taken from every one of us.
