Yet Another Michael

Conservative Home is reporting (unconfirmed, they say) that Michael Ancram is to announce his 'retirement'.

With the already announced 'retirements' of, for example, Howard, Jack, Mates and Spicer one has to ask:

Is David Cameron 'taking the Michael' out of politics?

    Interesting.

    But not as interesting as Thatcher's obsession of having as many men called 'Norman' in her cabinet as possible (StJohn Stevas, Fowler, Lamont, Tebbitt etc).
