Cart Before Horse?
Once again courtesy of "The Albion Alliance Presents" 'rolling EU news' comes this (click on go to source) with the punchline "We have strategic partners, now we need a strategy".
Hint: In the video, Van Rompuy is the one on the left - it is the 'plant' that is on the right!
Sorry W42 if you thought I was stating the obvious - its just that they are both inanimate objects and I was trying to help those EUcrats/philes that might drop by!
To change tack don't you think it's interesting that of all places it's France who are currently rattling the cage of EU regulations with their Burka ban now passed and their removal of Roma itinerants? It's long been clear to me that the french have a much more pragmatic attitude to regulations and the EU. Generally they take anything good on offer and quietly ignore what they don't like. But they are taking a stand on these issues - I wonder if Dave is watching?
Whilst comment moderation is not used I still reserve the right to delete those containing swearing or any that could be considered libelous/offensive etc.

But then thats the French - shrug of the shoulders and ignore anything they dont like, including us English!
