Ban The Burka?

Iain Dale has a post on the possibility of Gordon Brown following Nicolas Sarkozy and banning the Burka as a means of boosting his, GB's, popularity.

Leaving aside the gist of the post, one of the commenters states:

"Ban it - I thought they just made it Speaker"

    I can see this going horribly wrong - some Plod will try to apprehend a Burka wearer and get beaten up by a Ninja warrior.
