FFS!

Paraphrasing H.L. Mencken:
"The only good bureaucrat is one with a pistol at his head. Put it in his hand and it's good-bye to logic, common sense and freedom."

Courtesy of The Albion Alliance Presents it is possible to read the latest epistle from the Council of the European Union relating to the Single Market Act - click on link. The document reads like something that used to be published in the USSR, which went on at interminable length and by the end you were none the wiser.

One point about which they do seem extremely proud is the fact that in 17 years the Single Market Act has increased growth by 1.85% and created 2.75million additional jobs. Whoopeedoo! And at what bloody cost might one ask? And how long might a free market and private enterprise have taken?

In the words of Freddie: "I want to break free"
