Unless your name is Nick Clegg........

"Tricks and treachery are the practice of fools that don't have brains enough to be honest."
Benjamin Franklin

Normally when a political speech is advertised during the period preceding a general election, especially one given by a party Leader, the attendance is oversubscribed.
"The Liberal Democrats paid almost £9,000 to find audience members for a series of talks by Nick Clegg in the run-up to the general election, after not enough locals showed interest in turning up."
Oops!

Following the formation of the Coalition, from Clegg's Foreward to the LibDem's manifesto I have just noticed this gem:
"It means the end of the stitch-up between the two old parties."
Oops!
