Addressing the London School of Economics on Tuesday 9th December , David Cameron stated:
"I have asked every shadow minister to go through their budget line by line, to root out wasteful spending and to abolish programmes that have served their purposes and are no longer necessary. We are calling on the best private sector expertise to find ways to save taxpayers’ money and improve service delivery."
So, if David Cameron really is going to root out all wasteful spending, we can expect our membership and contributions to the European Union to feature then?
The words - might, fly, pigs - immediately spring to mind!
