Decision Making Ability

One of the prime requisites for any potential Prime Minister, or come to that any Minister/Secretary of State, is the ability to show that logical decisions can be made.

One has to ask whether the decision to bring Ken Clarke back onto the Conservative Shadow Front Bench is such a decision. With his supposed 'eurosceptic' comments David Cameron makes 'a few noises' to please those in his own party, even if what he does say is pure 'hogwash'. Yet Ken Clarke is an avowed 'europhile' and makes no secret of the fact.

Neither is it a fact he once sacked David Cameron - one wonders how long before David Cameron is forced to return the compliment!
