Is there not something comical in the man who, as Chancellor of the Exchequer and latterly Prime Minister, has been responsible for the greatest explosion in the public sector now telling us all how he intends to 'rein back' public sector costs?

Bloody hell Gordon, you mean it has only taken you 12 years to reach this point? In any event it will be a cold day in hell before a socialist government achieves that feat!
