Cameron - PM With A Spine Made Of Jelly!

Oh what a surprise! Remember all the bravado that the EU will not be inspecting Britain's Budgets? As reported here, "the plans would apply to all 27 European Union members, thereby creating an early headache for new British Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron. Under the terms of a power-sharing agreement struck with the Liberal-Democrat party, a key Conservative demand was that any further transfer of powers from Britain to Europe must be approved by a referendum.

And at the first 'challenge'*, what does Call Me Dave do? Presumably this comment would have been sanctioned by Camerlegg? "A UK official said: "We originally rejected this idea, but we've now discovered just how bad the Greek situation was, and there's an appetite to make sure it doesn't happen again. A lot has changed in the last few months, and people are ready to accept some things that they would not have done just a short time ago." And  just WTF are the 'people who are ready to accept some things that they would not have done just a short time ago'. When were we, the people, asked? Oh and if this is not a loss of power - being able to set and maintain our own national budget - then I don't know WTF it is!

So we have our referendum then......................?

*Bet this little item of news doesn't make the front pages in our newspapers tomorrow, nor will it be headline news on the BBC either!

Discovered?!? Every political blogger in the land, never mind the MSM, new Greece was up [financial] shit creek without the preverbial month and months ago.

This stinks of, "we're in now, fuck the lot of you."
