William Hague is quoted by Politics Home:
"He added that the uncertainty over the position of members of the Cabinet, “underlines the need to vote Conservative on Thursday”.
What is it about the Conservative Party that they do not understand? On Thursday 4th June the electorate are being asked to vote on local and European matters, which has nothing to do with whether there should be a general election now, or questions over the position of members of the Cabinet.
As the Conservatives do not wish to discuss 'Europe', one can appreciate that 'clouding the issue' by highlighting your opponents 'difficulties' and calling for 'a message to be sent to Gordon Brown' is understandable!
