In his column in the Sunday Telegraph, Christopher Booker laments on the level of press coverage the two recent 'climate conferences' received.
The one in Copenhagen, billed as "an emergency summit on climate change" was in fact, as one of the organisers put it ".... not a regular scientific conference: this is a deliberate attempt to influence policy".
The second conference in New York billed as "Global Warming: Was It Ever Really A Crisis?" sums up which was the more important.
As Booker says "the scare over global warming has been deliberately stoked up for political reasons and has long since parted company with proper scientific evidence."
It is obvious that some scientists are not really interested in 'proper scientific evidence' - just the 'Gorey facts'!

People do listen. C Booker managed to get in George Moonbat's list of top ten climate change sceptics, so he must have done something to upset them.
