A report in the print edition of theTelegraph (can't seem to find a link) reports that in the town of Winfield, Missouri, Harry Stonebraker was re-elected mayor about a month after he died of a heart attack, aged 69.
He was elected with 90 per cent of the votes, albeit the total votes cast amounted to 229, when the ballot was held on last Tuesday's election.
And the Telegraph thinks this is news? When we have a few hundred or more in the House of Commons - well 'brain-dead' anyway!
