According to this story in the Mail on Sunday Britain faces a critical shortage of sheep shearers, due to delays caused by red tape involved in the new points-based system.
Come the next general election the labour shortage (forgive the pun) can be filled by ex-MPs as they have shown remarkable expertise in fleecing the electorate!
