So Caroline Spelman, Conservative shadow minister, has been found guilty of 'inadvertently' breaking the rules on expenses.
Quoted in the Telegraph Caroline Spelman says "I fully accept the findings of this inquiry which I sought because I wanted the opportunity to clear my name..........."
So, in the 'Westminster Bubble', you can 'break the rules' and yet still 'clear your name'.
