According to Politics Home, our Dear Leader is to make an announcement tomorrow - surprise surprise, in Parliament - after PMQs.
"An independent parliamentary standards authority;
A code of conduct for MP;
A strengthened role for select committees;
The future of the House of Lords;
Possible electoral reform"
Admittedly the details of the announcement are not yet known but are these not matters for a general election manifesto and thus for the electorate to decide - and we all know about manifesto promises - or will this announcement be, yet again, another example of 'self-determination' by the political 'clique'? Has any 'consultation' taken place with the other party leaders?
