So the Conservative Party wish to engage the public with a view to getting ideas how people can contribute their thoughts on how policy should be designed.
How this equates with Cameron's refusal to acknowledge the people's wish for a referendum poses an unanswerable conundrum.
Once again we have exhibited to us the political elite's dictatorial decision to 'allow' the people an input only in areas that they decide.
And that is democracy? When will politicians accept that MPs are elected to enact the will of the people and not the other way round!
