Another 'Countess' Story

In the print edition of the Telegraph today we are regaled with a story about another 'countess' (this is the second one in two days - they seem to be springing up like their other fake counterparts, charities) who had been fined for allowing a rabbit to live in the kitchen of her hotel.

Convicted of 17 food hygiene breaches, she was fined by Norwich magistrates court £20,000 and ordered to pay costs of the same amount.

If she fails to pay, do we have a case of 'Welch Rabbit'?

Or perhaps the Countess had a bun-ny in the oven?

Possibly. Mind you, this was a 'rarebit' of news on a very quiet day!
