In the print edition of the Telegraph today we are informed that
"A bogus countess, Elga Beguinua, who posed as the world's richest heiress to trick her victims out of their life savings was yesterday ordered to repay nearly £850,000."
Not in the print edition of any newspaper today:
"A bogus prime minister, Gordon Brown, who posed as the greatest chancellor who ever lived and the saviour of the world to trick his electorate out of their pension entitlements (amongst other things), was yesterday ordered to repay £...................." (I feel sure Mark Wadsworth can fill in the amount).
