Hoist On Their Own Petard

So Jack Straw has vetoed publication of the Cabinet minutes covering meetings held in the run-up to the Iraq war, even though the Information Tribunal had ruled that they should be published.

I would remind Jack Straw, Justice Secretary, of a Government slogan, which I paraphrase.

If the Government has nothing to hide, then the Government has nothing to fear.
