'23 per cent of Britons are saving nothing' - headline in the print edition of the Telegraph, whose sales have just slumped by 5.16 per cent.
In the article Andy McQueen, savings director at Nationwide, says "We're very concerned that, since we started monitoring the savings habits of the UK last year, the importance consumers put on saving has been falling."
And this man is a banker? Look Andy-Pandy, how many tens of thousands of pounds of debt are we, each, now responsible for? How do you expect us to save and what with?
