Malloch Brown Telegraphs His 'Retirement'?

According to the Daily Telegraph Lord Malloch Brown, Development Minister, has stated that Gordon Brown should say 'sorry', although that is not what the article actually quotes him as having said on Radio 4's Start The Week.

It does rather beg the question whether MB is 'telegraphing' to GB that he has had enough of 'government'.

With the growing chorus for the word 'sorry' (Darling's, Mandelson's, Balls' - I think that is the right order) the words 'rats' and 'sinking ships' spring to mind.
