With All Rspect - Sod Burma

Gordon Brown, writing (well, it is under his by-line) in the Huffington Post:

"In recent weeks, we have seen an extraordinary consensus around the world in support of all those forced to suffer under the Burmese regime."

and:

"
The regime can choose to ignore the clamour for change. Or it can choose the path of reform as the region, and the world, have urged."

How about:

For the past eighteen months we have seen an extraordinary consensus around Britain, amongst the people, that they have suffered enough under the Brown regime.

and:

The regime can choose to ignore this clamour for change. Or it can choose the path of reform as the country has urged.

Perhaps Ban Ki Moon should visit Britain?
