A tad late on this story, but it appears that Peter Davies - directly elected Mayor of Doncaster - is under attack from a complaint made by one individual, on the basis that Davies' bid to remove political correctness from local government could possibly 'incite racial hatred'.
So we have the bizarre situation whereby Mayor Davies is being investigated at great expense simply for doing what he promised in his manifesto.
