Double Standards?

A story on the Mail on Sunday deals with the YouTube footage of the protest against Israel's invasion of the Gaza Strip. Whilst this article is about the allegation that the police 'ran away' from the reported 3,000 demonstrators and the police denials that this was the case, one simple thought struck me.

Bearing in mind the demonstrators were chanting, amongst other phrases, 'Allah Akbar' and 'Fatwa' during a protest march lasting three hours, my question is this:

Would any member of the Met Police 'elite' please tell me how far into a three hour protest I would have got,as a white British male, shouting similar phrases, phrases which a Muslim might find 'offensive' and 'racist'?

Just asking (to coin a phrase).
