Paul Waugh has an interesting post about a point of order raised by Greg Hands, MP for Hammesmith & Fulham, regarding a visit by Gordon Brown and Ed Balls to a school in constituency about which Hands says he was not notified.
Speaker Burcow slapped Hands down by complaining that civil servants should not be named and that he, Bercow, does not like that.
Sorry Ber-cow - as I believe you pronounce it - but who are Kelly and Lyon if not civil servants both of whom have been 'named' in the House of Commons?
