Courtesy & Political Deficiencies

Damian Thompson posts on a story that involves David Cameron, who having been driven round a marginal constituency, disembarked from a car without a word.

David Cameron does not appear to understand the definition of words or phrases like 'democracy', 'public debate', 'referendum', 'democratised dictatorship', 'decentralisation of power', 'continuity of thought and policy', 'Queen & Country', 'representation of electorate's views' and 'cast-iron promise' for example.

And someone thought he might understand it would be courteous to say 'Thank you'?
