Will The Voters Understand The Reaction Of The Markets?

"The financial markets have traditionally been highly suspicious of Labour governments. For some unfathomable reason, they reckon that Labour governments spend too much, tax too much, borrow too much, and inflate too much" - which is not that surprising as they do have history to reinforce that suspicion!

Burning Our Money, from whose post I have quoted, explains the problem so much better than I ever could - do go read. The problem is, as the heading suggests, will Joe Public - who is embroiled in Terry/Bridges, Coronation Street, East Enders, etc etc etc, understand?

No they won't and the Pod People post goes into that. The biggest problem is our own people we're fighting for.
