BBC & Journalism

James Delingpole posts on the fact that he was 'censored' by the BBC for the fact he, unwittingly, told an 'Irish Joke' - even though was he said was repetition of an old Irish adage.

The Boiling Frog posts on a BBC report about the Dutch airline KLM refusing to pay out compensation to its passengers delayed by the volcanic ash cloud earlier this year - and the fact that the report was for from 'fair' and seemed totally biased in favour of the EU.

Time and time again the BBC have exhibited an inability to report any item of news in an impartial manner and one has to suppose the most glaring example is when they mention global warming, or climate change.

As Vernon Coleman said - in 2005 but true today - "The BBC is a good old-fashioned state broadcaster. It would have been comfortable operating in the USSR in the 1960s."

Oh but wait - I have just remembered that it is a well-known fact that those in receipt of remuneration from the EU* are forbidden from criticising in any way, under pain of losing that income!

* Ok - so it was 'loans' - so???
