Consultations

Don't you just love the word 'consultation' when it is used by government, local authority or any other bureaucratic body? The Guardian and Telegraph (the latter, as usual, using a bit of copy & paste journalism) both have articles on The Coalition's 'crowdsourcing' attempt to find out what laws the public want amended or removed.

Just what is the point of these 'consultation' exercises when Nick Clegg, for example, in response to requests for an amendment to the smoking laws responds by saying "Forget it - it ain't going to happen".

The Coalition is looking for ways to save money - in which case, you idiots, stop spending money on ventures such as 'crowdsourcing' and just carry on acting like the f'king dictators you are!
