Michael Meacher - yes, him of the Labour 'Left', whose highest academic achievement seems to have been a Diploma in Social Administration (an NVQ1 in paper clip sorting?) and whose political heights seem to have been the lower echelons of government, has a post on the East Coast rail problem.
He ends his post with:
"This is yet another flagrant example where a company privatises the gains in conditions of economic growth, but then leaves the taxpayer to socialise the losses when the economy deteriorates. Is this a way to run a railway, let alone a range of other major public services"
Michael, presumably as a Labour MP you are a member of this disillusional gathering of brainless idiots - aka the Labour Party - who call themselves the Governing Party. You will therefore not take offence when it is pointed out to you that history will show that the last 12 years have exemplified how a government flagrantly wasted the gains from an inherited improving economy and then left the taxpayer to repay the losses when socialism 'f****d up' said economy, the country and its society, yet again!

1. Michael Meacher may have a point, but he was part of the government that signed these flaky contracts. They ought to have reckoned with this.
2.Michael Meacher is a buy-to-let landlord on a massive scale. So is he not himself somebody who "privatises the gains in conditions of economic growth, but then leaves the taxpayer to socialise the losses"?? Which group of 646 individuals have most to gain from subsidised interest rates and propping up house prices?
"has" not "have" obviously, "group" is a collective noun.
