Richard North, EU Referendum, posts on an article by Melanie Phillips in the Mail, in which she lambasts the Working Time Directive affecting doctors in hospitals.
Both end their posts with two repeatable quotes:
"Once, British citizens died to defend the sovereign powers of Parliament. Now they are dying because Parliament gave those powers away — and all without a shot being fired." Melanie Phillips

I'd omit the elite WfW. Few of them deserve that description.
According to medical experts I know the working directive is causing so many problems within our hospitals. Young doctors are fleeing abroad once qualified - never to return.
Give it a year or so and we'll hear the bleating on about we don't have enough doctors. They won't mention we educate more than enough.
Well SR, they think they are elite! The last time I came across something akin to the political elite I scraped it off my shoe!
