For those not acquainted with the new language called 'EUspeak', it is very similar to 'Newspeak' from the book 1984, by George Orwell.
We all recall that the accounts for the EU have never been 'signed off' by their accountants. The accountant's criticism of the latest set was that 92 per cent of its budget was “materially affected” by irregularities and that £4 billion of contracts had been improperly awarded.
What do we find on the EU website for 10th November 2010? This:
"For the third consecutive year EU's annual accounts have received a clean bill of health from its external auditors."No wonder that our toy politicians have developed the knack of 'spin - they have had near forty years tutelage in the art of presenting lies as truth!
