What Do We Pay These Idiots For?

A story in the Telegraph deals with the idea that police officers should patrol every school.

Sir Alan, head teacher of Seven Kings High School, Ilford, Essex, (know it well!) who is carrying out an ongoing review of behaviour needs a reality check.

Sir Alan, you are not only a teacher, but a head teacher. You are, in my opinion, not only employed to teach but to also instill discipline in your pupils - so would you just get on with it and do that for which you supposedly earn a reasonable level of remuneration.

Ed Balls - aka What A Load Of - also manages to stick his oar in by saying "Sir Alan's review is about prevention, it's about ensuring schools have the powers and support they need to tackle problems before they become crises." Our Secretary of State for Children, Schools & Families could indeed provide the 'powers and support' by 'butting out' and saving us taxpayers the cost of unnecessary reports which tell us what we already knew; namely that Labour governments know sod all about government and even less about education!
