Pointless Political Gestures

This must rank as one of the above.

Whilst I have every sympathy with the suffering of others, might I suggest that lighting a candle for this country - a country that Labour has wrecked with its half-baked ideas, the inhabitants of a country who have been driven into the depths of indescribable debt which will take decades to repay, might be a little more symbolic?

It would also help if the politician lighting the candle could offer this country a well thought out plan of action!
