And The Lib/Lab/Con Don't Control Debate?

For some time I have argued that the Lib/Lab/Con have the MSM in their pocket, in that any view outside those of their 'cabal' are stifled and excluded.

From the News of the World:

"....there will be no BNP supporters in the audience for Thursday's debate. Members of UKIP and the Green Party will also be excluded. The main parties have stitched up a deal which means Labour and the Tories will both have equal numbers of supporters in the studio audience and the Lib Dems slightly less." and "This is a debate between the major parties, not everyone."They were all keen to ensure no-one else has a platform."

In a democracy is not open debate amongst parties a basic requirement? What are Cameron, Brown and Clegg so afraid of that they do not wish to engage with any other party in open debate? The statement by a source for the organisers that Cameron, Brown and Clegg were all keen to ensure no-one else has a platform is damning of those three men.

I was going to use the word 'gentlemen', however that would lay me open to misuse of the English Language!
