A Policy Not 'Thought Through'

An article in the Daily Telegraph yesterday, one that I have only just discovered, states that Andrew Neather - a former advisor to Blair, Straw and Blunkett - has stated that it was deliberate Labour policy to create a multi-cultural society and thereby to "rub the Right's nose in diversity".

As with most Labour policies, this one was introduced without being 'thought through', presumably in view of the above comment as an example of 'political spite' and therefore the problems that have arisen - additional costs on schools and the health service for example - are 'self made'.

The response of a Home Office spokesman is telling when he is quoted as sayng "Our new flexible points based system gives us greater control on those coming to work or study from outside Europe, ensuring that only those that Britain need can come. Britain's borders are stronger than ever before and we are rolling out ID cards to foreign nationals, we have introduced civil penalties for those employing illegal workers and from the end of next year our electronic border system will monitor 95 per cent of journeys in and out of the UK. The British people can be confident that immigration is under control." This, of course, does not mention that people from the EU can enter this country as and when they like and that 'immigration' is only 'controlled' for non-EU immigrants. Neither does it answer the point that any system that this government introduces does not work properly and subsequently the British people can have no confidence that immigration is under control.

A greater condemnation of the present government lies in the fact that when introducing this policy I do not recall them specifically asking the British people if changing our society, as we knew it, was acceptable to us.

This government has socially engineered our society, cowed us into an acceptance of conforming to ideas and practices which are foreign to our nature, obliterated our customs and traditions and wrecked our economy. They truly are 'Bastards of the Highest Order'.

The Daily Telegraph has, today, an article promoting a new book that collates some of the letters from readers that never made it into print. One such from Sheila Shaw, of Nelson, Lancashire on the subject of MPs is also applicable to this government.

"May I point out that MPs should be entitled to a fair hearing, then they should be shot."

I just posted this over at WHOOPS:

Is it possible, and I ask this in all honesty, that ZaNuLabour orchestrated this?

I wonder if they know they fucked up by throwing open the gates, and allowed the Muslims to go too far when they allowed shariah courts to appear all over our nation. Giving a party like the BNP oxygen will definitely rile the people who have to put up with their “encroachment” in their communities but having allowed it to happen, Labour have no other way to stop it.

I know, I know, to admit that we think Labour engineered the whole thing might suggest that they have a functioning brain when we know for sure that collectively, they have the IQ of a clubbed seal.

I dont know what to think.

CR.

I will add this. I am all for diversity, and I think that there is much to be gained from living in a multi-cultural society. What a dull, dull world it would be if we never mixed, or learnt from, other cultures. But in the Disunited Kingdom, a golden rule has been broken. We allowed foreign citizens to settle, and then stupidly allowed them to introduce their own laws in a country that has had (mostly) functioning laws for 900 years. The golden rule is of course "When in Rome, do as the Romans do".

It was a huge mistake to allow otherwise.
