Following my previous post, I have now found the transcript of Gordon Brown's 'Acceptance Speech' in his home constitutency.
"I have set out on a journey across a month and many miles, to speak directly with the British people" How one sets out on a journey 'across a month' one knows not, but more importantly as I have blogged previously, he has no intention of speaking with the British people - more at the British people, a trait on which he does not have a monopoly.
"While we put up five billion pounds to help the cash flow of 200,000 businesses...." Err, excuse you me, you devious, lying and deceitful apology for a politician - you put up nothing, zilch, nada - you put up our money - and without permission too!
"But this election is not about asking people to give us credit for what we did in the past. I know that what people really want to know, is whether they can entrust us with the economy for the future." Brown wants credit for what he did in the past - for wrecking the country economically, for wrecking the country 'socially', for 'donating' our right to self-rule to a federalist state - Ye Gods, the man truly is mad! On top of that, having proved his inability to 'balance the books' he wants us to trust him with 'cooking' them even more?? WTF!
"The British people should not be asked to put a cross next to a question mark." Right, so that is Labour, Conservative and LibDems removed from the ballot papers then!
"And I do not want to go back to the pre-'97 Britain...." Obviously not, idiot, because round about 1987 you had your proverbial 'foot' in the grave! Between 1987 and 1997 you and Blair dreamed up the second biggest 'con' - the first being Cameron and his 'ideas' - ever perpetrated on the British electorate!
"And this is my message, my pledge......" Listen 'richard'head - like Cameron, your messages and pledges are not worth owt, they mean nothing as, at the first opportunity, you break them!
"For 13 years we have been building a better country....." Whaaat! Better for you, Mr. Brown, but most definitely not for the 'Great Ignored' - you know, us that you despise, ignore, control and generally treat like dirt. You have wrecked a united kingdom, wrecked our society, wrecked our democracy, wrecked our country's finances and wrecked our parliament system.

Has Brown by any chance been reading Maurice Sendak's 'Where the Wild Things Are'? It could explain a lot...
'And an ocean tumbled by with a private boat for Max and he sailed off through night and day. And in and out of weeks and almost over a year to where the Wild Things are'.
That's a pretty good rant - If you're not careful you may have to re-name this blog...
md,
To.......?
The man's clearly been following in Alice's footsteps, he's living in a fantasy world.
Oh, by the way, hasn't Heaven go an 'a' in it?
Ta Mrs. R, it has now!
