A few snippets of Gordon Brown's speech in his home constituency of Kirkcaldy are reported on Politics Home.
It seems he has hired Tom Clancy as a speechwriter - a "real and present danger" - and cannot even say what is written, as what he should have said was a "clear and present danger".
And to say "I will never let you down", when he has done just that must the greatest insult to the British people, that he could pay.
No doubt Kirkcaldy, in their infinite wisdom, will return this incompetent shyster to Parliament - as will Witney with theirs!
