It will be remembered that Cleggie criticised Call Me Dave's Big Society idea during the general election campaign. Today, Cleggie attempted to smooth over any differences on the issue, saying he had come to discover that the two parties had been using ''different words'' that meant ''the same thing''.
That attempt to smooth over the differences is, probably, the prime example which proves the assertion made by Nigel Farage that you cannot get a cigarette paper between any of them.
