Don't You Believe It, Helen

Helen Szamuely, Your Freedom And Ours, has a most interesting post here. Besides commenting on Call Me Dave's inability to win what was a 'shoe-in' general election, Helen writes on the 55 per cent rule that has been introduced by the two 'lovers' - 'lovers' being a noun for two people, not necessarily of one mind or belief, in a liaison in which they can 'screw' each other, eventually.

Helen ends her post, on the 55 per cent item, with "It seems that in this session we shall once again have to rely on the House of Lords to protect our constitution and the few remaining parliamentary liberties."

I would caution against this hope with the following reminder - Parliamentary Act?
