Yet another example which shows that Britain no longer governs herself comes with this story by Philip Johnston, writing in the Daily Telegraph.
Our Home Secretary, who 'may' of course have her 'statement' aired then says, in effect, sorry but nowt I can do about this!
The root cause of this inability to deport those we do not want in our country rests entirely with Britain's membership of the European Union and through that acceptance of rulings by the ECHR.
Now if we had 'Direct Democracy - instead of the present sham democracy - the people could then instigate an 'initiative' to ensure that a referendum on Britain's membership of the EU, which the 'toy' government based in Westminster does not want, is actually held.
And we are a 'free' people???

Of course we're not a free people WFW. You should know that by know. :)
We should start a campaign for Dave to give us a referendum on the EU.
We're not free, but some consider us quite reasonable.
