Cancel The 2015 Election

Exactly how much lower will our political elite prostrate themselves to those that have a dislike of our country? Mind you, it is worth remembering that they do have form viz-a-viz the European Union. The Telegraph reports that an offer has been made to Sein Fein MPs to write their own Parliamentary Oath in order to entice them to take their seats in the House of Commons.

The level of intellect possessed by Owen Paterson, Northern Ireland Minister, would appear to be questionable, for as Norman Tebbit states "The formulation of an oath of loyalty which avoids pledging loyalty to the state and its head would seem a rather difficult task".

Besides an increasing sense of despair at our political elite, their lack of principles and pride in their nation I have to remind them that if they wish to change the rules of their 'club' then bloody well ask us first - it is after all we, the people, who own it, pay all its bills, their salaries and allowances!

The manner in which our political elite are acting we may as well not bother with the election planned in 2015, for as Charles Bukowski reportedly said:
"The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a democracy you vote first and take orders later; in a dictatorship you don't have to waste your time voting."
