Samizdata has a post about Silvio Berlusconi and, as its last two sentences:
"The trouble is, whoever replaces this character will be just as bad. Maybe not as venal, but just as unlikely to shrink the state."
When considering Britain and the choice between Labour and Conservative and who is most likely to form the next government, is the statement above also not true of Britain?
