Now He Is A Journalist!

It is refreshing to see one journalist with a bravado that those in the MSM, generally speaking, seem to lack.

It is also refreshing to read - and have confirmed one's view - that when Cameron said he was the 'Heir to Blair' he actually meant it, that someone else also believes Cameron is just offering more of the same  'government' as Brown, only with the camouflage of a blue rosette.

In a well- deserved 'dig' at the MSM James Delingpole writes: "Already I see our newspapers and broadcast media beginning to realign their politics in sympathy with the new regime. (Not that there’s much realigning to be done with a Conservative as New Labour as our Dave.)" Ouch!

This is one journalist, at least, who realises that the battle against 'big government' will need to be fought by those of us in the blogosphere - provided of course we still have our freedom of speech, something that 'they' will never cease trying to curb.

Delingpole can't put a foot wrong, far as I'm concerned. Apart from his stance on AGW and his defence of smoking, he's one of the few journalists who takes the trouble to reply to comments on his own blog.

(I don't comment much here, but read you most days. Happy New Year!)

I thought Delingpole's article was excellent; I wonder how long he'll last at the Telegraph?

GV,

Don't bet your house on his tenure!

As he says, he just states what he thinks - oh that our politicians would do likewise!
