Why Terrorists Lists Don't Work

An amusing article - or not so amusing if your name happens to be Michael Hicks - which appears in the New York Times.

"It’s quite clear that he is 8 years old, and while he may have terroristic tendencies at home, he does not have those on a plane."

Never mind fingerprints, iris scans, dates of birth, National Insurance numbers - the moral of this story is that you dare not even give your name for inclusion on a government data base!

Afterthought: Mind you if you have the right underpants on - no problem, it doesn't matter whether you are, or are not, on any list!
